William Scudder Gookin, Jr.

William Scudder Gookin, Jr., the firm’s president, has had extensive experience in the field of construction design and management. Since joining the firm in 1965, Scudder has serviced as construction manager for such projects as steel placement, steel fabrication, concrete placement, welding, pipeline installation, pump stations, excavation, fill compaction, recompaction, shaped excavation, raw excavation, drilling, boring, spoils disposal, blasting and major utility crossings such as transcontinental gas lines and railroad crossings. Scudder received Bachelor of Science degrees from Arizona State University in engineering and economics. Scudder is a registered civil engineer in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, and Utah. He is also registered as a land surveyor in Arizona and Oregon. He is also a registered hydrologist.

Edward Allen Gookin

Edward Allen Gookin, the firm’s vice-president, joined the family firm in 1996 after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University. Ed continues the family tradition of working on civil engineering construction projects and participating in litigation efforts for various clients. Ed is a registered professional engineer in Arizona and California.
